JAMAICA-Former Court of Appeal President Dennis Morrison dies.

KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – Former President of the Court of Appeal Justice Dennis Morrison died on Saturday at 73.

Morrison retired in 2020 after a lengthy legal career. He was called to the Bar in 1975 and practiced for a quarter of a century before being appointed to the Bench.

Morrison was appointed to serve in the Court of Appeal of Jamaica in 2008 and was appointed to serve as president eight years later.

He also served as a judge of the Courts of Appeal in the Cayman Islands and Belize and acted as a judge of the Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal.
