It said Harold A. Browne died on Saturday, June 4, at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre at 76 years. It gave no details of his illness.
The statement said that elder Browne was the father of seven children and “was the brother of several sisters and brothers in the United States.” He is survived by his wife, Maude, in the United Kingdom.
The statement added that Browne would be laid to rest on Tuesday, June 7.
