DOHA, Qatar, CMC – Guyana’s President, Dr. Irfaan Ali, Monday held talks with Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, according to an official statement.
It said, “discussion centered on several areas of cooperation between Guyana and Qatar,” without elaborating.
Ali, who is heading a five-member delegation, including his Senior Finance Minister, Dr. Ashni Singh, is on an official visit to Qatar.
The statement said that Ali also held bilateral discussions with Qatar’s Minister of State for Energy Affairs, Engineer Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi. It gave no details.
