Meet Him This Christmas Season at Albee in Downtown Brooklyn**

If you’re looking to add some extra excitement to your Christmas holidays—especially for the kids—make your way to Target Brooklyn on Fulton Street. Located at 445 Albee Square West in downtown Brooklyn, this popular superstore is known for its friendly staff and warm, community-centered atmosphere. At the helm is its charming and engaging Store Director, Chenay Howell, whose welcoming personality and million-dollar smile make her a natural favorite among young visitors and parents alike.

But this season’s biggest attraction is none other than Target’s beloved Christmas Yeti.

CARIBBEAN TIMES NEWS was invited this past weekend to witness the Yeti’s grand entrance—an event that drew cheerful crowds and wide-eyed children. For the uninitiated, Target’s “Get Ready Yeti” is a whimsical, larger-than-life holiday character standing an impressive eight feet tall. Born in the mythical Alpine snow, the Yeti kicks off the holiday season with playful energy, helping guests get excited and prepared for all things festive. A family favorite across the country, the Yeti never fails to deliver joy.

We spoke with Ms. Howell about her decade-long career with Target.

“I’ve been employed with Target for about 10 years now… I’m a Brooklyn girl, and I absolutely love my job, especially around Christmas. My goal is to ensure every shopper—every family and every kid—has a memorable experience here,” she shared. She also noted that of the eight Target locations in Brooklyn, hers is the only one featuring the Get Ready Yeti in-store.

The Yeti stars prominently in Target’s holiday advertising across TV, digital, and social platforms, and is central to immersive, kid-friendly experiences nationwide. “It’s all about how our customers feel when shopping,” Ms. Howell explained. “The Get Ready Yeti delivers that warm, playful holiday spirit.”

Ultimately, Target’s 2025 Holiday Yeti is far more than a festive decoration—it’s a joyful symbol of family fun, connection, and holiday readiness, enchanting shoppers both in-store and online this season.
