CASTRIES, St. Lucia, CMC – The St. Lucia government says it expects at least 1,000 new jobs to be available as the US-based KM² Solutions announced plans to expand its nearshore outsourcing services operations here.

The government said that construction is underway at Orange Grove Plaza, north of here, where KM² Solutions is developing a state-of-the-art, 40,000 sq. ft. contact center facility. Once completed, the facility will feature 850 workstations, training rooms, conference areas, a cafeteria, and more, with the capacity to generate over 1,000 new jobs, particularly for St. Lucia’s young and talented workforce.

“This latest development brings KM²’s total workforce capacity in Saint Lucia to 2,500 employees across three locations,” said the government.

KM² Solutions senior vice president, Eastern Caribbean Operations, Marvin Bartholomew, said, “This expansion is a direct result of the exceptional talent and commitment we continue to see here in St. Lucia.

“We’re proud to deepen our roots and offer even more opportunities to the local workforce,” he added.

The government said that this expansion directly aligns with its “continued efforts to create high-quality, sustainable jobs for St. Lucians, especially youth entering the workforce. With the first phase expected to launch in August, KM² will begin hiring for 300 new positions, further reducing youth unemployment and boosting the national economy.

“St. Lucia has played a foundational role in our journey. Our continued investment here is a reflection of both our confidence in the island’s people and the trust our clients place in KM² to deliver consistent, high-quality service,” said KM² Solutions president and chief executive officer, David Kreiss.
