KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC–Rogea Reid, a 24-year-old deportee who fled the island while on bail for murder, was arrested at the Norman Manley International Airport when he re-entered the island on Thursday.
The police report that Reid was among 61 deportees on a chartered flight arriving from Alexandria, Louisiana, in the United States around 11:55 am (local time) on Thursday.
Upon arrival, Reid was handed over to law enforcement personnel for further processing, and during this process, he was taken into custody.
He was the only deportee to be detained.
