KINGSTON, Jamaica– A 24-year-old American wanted in the United States on a murder charge will re-appear in the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court here on Monday.

Range Reynolds, captured in Kingston on Tuesday, is wanted in connection with the January murder of 27-year-old Tarek Boothe of Virginia. The U.S. authorities said the murder occurred following an argument between the men.

But when he appeared in court on Thursday, he was not represented, and it is expected that legal representation will be settled before his next court appearance.

Members of the United States Marshals Service Florida and Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force were involved in taking Reynolds into custody.

U.S. media reports say he will be returned to Washington, D.C., where he will be charged with first-degree murder while armed.
