GEORGETOWN, Guyana, CMC – President Irfaan Ali left Guyana on Tuesday night for the United States, where he is expected to meet with several stakeholders from the US Congress and the State Department, according to a statement issued by the Office of the President.
It said that during his three-day visit, Ali is also scheduled to participate in several private sector meetings and visit several universities, including the National Defense University.
The statement said that Ali, heading a delegation that includes Foreign Minister Hugh Tood Tourism, Industry, and Commerce Minister Oneidge Walrond, is expected to present at the Organization of American States (OAS).
