ST. GEORGE’S, Grenada, CMC – The Police have alerted the Regional Security System (RSS) about the hunt still underway for Dwayne McDonald, a wanted man suspect in a homicide case.
“He is on the high priority wanted list; the offense he alleged to have committed will make him a priority,” says ASP Douglas Simon, Head of the Community Relations Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force.
“In the immediate aftermath of the office, we had notified Trinidad and Tobago and St Vincent and the Grenadines, but right now, he is on the RSS list,” he added.
McDonald,42, is the main suspect in the death of Randy McIntosh, who was found by Police with gunshot wounds while sitting in his vehicle on the 13 square miles of Grenadine Island of Carriacou. That island falls under the administration of Grenada.
McDonald, who was deported from the United States, is wanted by the Police for questioning in connection with the offense of murder.
“This suspect may be armed and dangerous and should be approached cautiously,” says a release from the Police. McIntosh was shot in his vehicle on May 2. The incident was witnessed by a female in the car when the offense was committed.
As of Thursday, there have been nine homicides in Grenada since the start of the year.
