LONDON, England, CMC – Jamaican International Kahiem Dixon has signed a four-year deal with English League One club Charlton Athletic.

The talented 19-year-old forward joins the ‘Addicks’ for an undisclosed fee from Jamaica Premier League club Arnett Gardens.

The former Clarendon College player has made eight appearances for Jamaica, scoring twice and being a part of the Reggae Boyz’s Copa America squad alongside Charlton’s Karoy Anderson.

Dixon will wear the number 13 shirt and says he is delighted to be plying his trade in England.

“I’m thrilled to be here. My first opportunity to become a professional is to be at the Addicks. It’s been perfect to see Karoy (Anderson), another teammate from my country. I can’t wait to start playing with him,” said Dixon.

Manager Nathan Jones said Dixon has been on his radar for some time and is glad that the Jamaican will be a part of his team.

“Kaheim is a young, exciting talent that we have been watching for several months, watching his progress and how he has done in the Jamaican national team alongside Karoy. We look forward to working with him, developing him, and becoming a better player.”
