TAMPA, Florida, CMC – Jamaican forward Khori Bennett scored his fourth goal for the month to earn hosts Las Vegas Lights came from behind late to draw with Memphis 901 FC 1-1 in the United Soccer League Championship on Saturday in the United States.

They got a lifeline in the 78th minute when the Niners were penalized for a foul in the box, and Bennett stepped up and calmly converted the penalty into the bottom left corner.
It was Bennett’s second goal in the past week. He similarly scored from the penalty spot to help the Lights earn a 3-3 draw with Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC last Tuesday.
He has also now scored four goals in as many matches, including three from the penalty spot. He is second on the team in goals, three behind Valentin Noël of France.
The goal also earned Bennett a place on the USL Championship Team of the Week Team of the Week for Week 16, which was announced on Tuesday.
Both teams felt each other out in the first half before Lapa opened the scoring in the 43rd minute. He picked up a turnover and unleashed a 60-yard shot from inside his own half that beat Lights goalkeeper Nicholas Ammeter, who was off his line.
