ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico, CMC -New Mexico United has secured the services of Antigua and Barbuda winger Dayonn Harris on a new contract for the 2025 USL Championship season.
Harris made a strong impact during his debut season with United, contributing to offense and defense before a knee injury sidelined him in August.
Despite missing the campaign’s second half, Harris’ pre-injury stats showcased his value. He scored one goal and contributed two assists from 13 chances created in 685 minutes. The wily winger also had impressive cross-success rates, at 33.3 percent.
Before joining United, Harris stood out for the Tampa Bay Rowdies, tallying six goals, six assists, and 56 chances created in 77 appearances.
His USL Championship career includes time with Real Monarchs SLC, where he amassed 106 total appearances in regular season and playoff matches.
Harris marked a milestone on the international stage in June when he debuted for Antigua and Barbuda in a 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Bermuda, following his first senior national team call-up.
