LONDON, CMC – English National League club, York City, announced on Saturday that Antigua & Barbuda international Ashley Nathaniel-George is one of four new 2024-25 season signings.

The 28-year-old, England-born winger, known for his agility and speed, agreed to join the Minstermen, as York City is known, following the expiry of his contract after a two-year stay at fellow ENL club, Maidenhead United. This move marks a significant step in his career, showcasing his ambition and potential.

Nathaniel-George spent his youth career at Arsenal, Watford, Wycombe, and Wealdstone before moving to Potters Bar Town.

After an impressive season at Hendon, he joined English League 2 side Crawley Town between 201 and 2020.

Nathaniel-George, a seasoned player with a track record of success, joined Maidenhead in September 2022 after stints at Southend in League Two and Torquay. His exceptional performance earned him the Maidenhead’s Supporters Player-the-Year award last year, a testament to his skill and dedication.

On the international stage, Nathaniel-George has represented Antigua & Barbuda with pride, earning 11 caps and scoring once. His international experience adds depth to his playing style, making him a valuable asset to any team.

York supporters will recognize Nathaniel-George for two impressive performances against the Minstermen last term, scoring in each reverse fixture.

His goal at the Community Stadium was particularly impressive, as the two sides played out a pair of 1-1 draws last season.

York also agreed on deals for goalkeeper Harrison Male from Dorking and Worthing duo Ollie Pearce and Joe Felix, and they all joined on free transfers following the expiry of their contracts with their previous clubs.
