ROSEAU, Dominica, CMC – Police Tuesday said they were awaiting the autopsy results on the body of a 48-year-old American national hanging in a cabin of a yacht last weekend.
The police said the un-named yacht, owned and captained by Simon Elias of Washington, was anchored in the Caribbean Sea, about 75 feet from Castle Comfort, south of here.
They said the body was discovered last Thursday and that Elias was pronounced dead at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital in Goodwill on the capital’s outskirts.
“His body is being kept at a funeral pending an autopsy,” the police added.
