MIAMI, Florida – The 2022 Concacaf Women’s Qualifiers return to action Wednesday, with 12 teams across the six groups looking to secure their first victory of the campaign.

Antigua and Barbuda will square off with Anguilla in Group A at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua.

Curaçao’s Sadeyah Rosa was in action against St. Kitts and Nevis in a group stage match on February 22.

While neither side has found the back of the net thus far in qualifying, there was a notable improvement throughout the February matches. A golden opportunity to earn a victory in FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualifying is taking.

Curacao will be keen to etch their names into the win column for the first time in Group B, but they will have to first deal with a U.S. Virgin Islands side that holds the same aspirations.

The two Caribbean teams will meet at the Bethlehem Soccer Complex in St. Croix, USVI. USVI is yet to score in qualifying, but Curacao has a goal to their name after finding the back of the net in their 5-1 defeat to St. Kitts and Nevis.

It is a similar story in Group C for the two teams in action on the day, with Grenada and Cayman Islands both out for their first points of qualifying at the Kirani James Athletics Stadium in St. George’s.

Grenada showed significant improvement from match one to match two. Following a 9-0 loss to the Dominican Republic, they fought hard in a 6-1 defeat to Jamaica’s 2019 Women’s World Cup side.

In Group D, Aruba takes on Belize at the BFF Stadium in Belmopan. While they could not collect a point in their first two matches, Aruba can stand tall as the only winless team that scored a goal in their first two games.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines will meet the British Virgin Islands at Arnos Vale Stadium in Kingstown in the lone match in Group E.

While neither side has earned a point nor scored a goal thus far, Wednesday’s affair is a chance to show the improvement made and lessons learned by both teams since February’s matches, which included a valiant performance from Vincy Heat in a narrow 3-0 loss to Cuba.

Windsor Park Sports Stadium in Roseau will be the site for the day’s game in Group F, with hosts Dominica welcoming the Turks and Caicos Islands.
