Clayton, TThompson’straining partner, copped gold in the wwomen’sequivalent on her way to setting a new meet record of 7.18 seconds, ahead of PPortugal’sLorene Bazolo in 7.34 seconds.

CClayton’s twin sister, Tina, claimed bronze in 7.36 seconds, the same time as fourth-place Magdalena Stefanowicz of Poland.
