ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, CMC – Police Wednesday said a hotel worker is among two people assisting their investigations as they probe the circumstances that led to two employees of the Carlisle Bay Hotel being shot several times on Tuesday night and remain in severe condition at the hospital.
The police said that the two workers, a 33-year-old man, and a 32-year-old woman, were walking towards the gate after completing their shifts when they were shot several times.
The injured male workers managed to walk to the hotel lobby while the woman was found on the ground in a parking lot on the compound.
The authorities said they are both in severe but stable condition, and a motive for the attack has not yet been ascertained.
The police said two men are assisting the investigations aged 23 and 22.
