ST JOHN’S, Antigua, CMC – The Census Office is encouraging the full cooperation of all residents as work continues on the 2025 Population and Housing Census across Antigua and Barbuda.

According to the census office, the process is a critical national exercise that provides essential data used to inform government policy, national development planning, and the allocation of resources in key areas such as health, education, housing, employment, and infrastructure.

Accurate census data ensures that decisions affecting communities are based on reliable and up-to-date information.

Census officials have also reminded residents that, as required by law, they must participate in the Census. The Census Office added that all information collected during the Census is strictly confidential and protected by law.

Individual responses will not be shared and will be used solely for statistical purposes. The office says public cooperation is vital to the Census’s success and to ensuring that every person and household is accurately represented.
