GEORGETOWN, Guyana, CMC – Police said Tuesday they had recovered the body of 15-year-old student, Arif Azeez, who had reportedly drowned on Monday at Hot and Cold Lake, Onderneeming.
They said the student of Adventure, Essequibo Coast, had gone to the lake on an outing with friends and was operating a jet ski when he allegedly fell into the water and disappeared.
An alarm was raised, and persons in the area immediately conducted searches to locate Azeez.
Police said that the teenager’s body was found in the lake today and that the investigation is ongoing.
