GEORGETOWN, Guyana, CMC – Former national player Ryan Gonsalves has been elected the new president of the Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) following the body’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) last weekend.

Gonsalves takes over the role previously held by Ryan Dey, who opted not to seek re-election after revealing that he was stepping away from the position. Joining Gonsalves on the executive is Alwin Etwah, who was elected unopposed as vice president.

Delmar Headley was elected as junior vice-president; the treasurer is Alvin Danaram, while Roger Perriera is the assistant secretary/treasurer.

The public relations officer is Tinisha Cole, with Patrick Lindo, James Osborne, Anisa Carter, and Thana Smith serving as committee members.
