ST JOHN’S, Antigua, CMC – Dwaine Gill, a former Cricket West Indies (CWI) Director, has been appointed as its new High-Performance Manager following the departure of Graeme West.
Gill, who also served as president of the Windward Islands Cricket Board and a former president of the Grenada Cricket Association, takes over the position left vacant by West, who demitted office on September 30.
Gill managed the victorious West Indies Under-19 team that won the 2016 World Cup. He has academic training in business administration and holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree.
West, who has taken up the role of Cricket Ireland’s (CI) Director of High Performance, joined the organization in June 2012 as the head coach of the High-Performance Centre at Cave Hill, Barbados.
