LONDON, CMC – English League 1 outfit Stevenage has agreed terms with Trinidad & Tobago international Daniel Phillips on a two-year deal.

The 23-year-old joins from Scottish Premier League side St Johnstone, where he played over 50 matches over the past two seasons.

“Dan brings new qualities to our central midfield,” Stevenage manager Alex Revell said in a comment on the club’s website.

“We have tracked him ever since he left Watford two years ago – it’s taken a while, but we are delighted to get him over the line.”

Phillips has played 12 times for the Soca Warriors, as the T&T men’s national team is known, since his international debut three years ago. He was part of the line-up during the recent Concacaf qualifiers for the Fifa 2026 World Cup.

Stevenage finished ninth in the 24-team League 1 table, on 71 points, after they won 19 matches, lost 13, and drew 14.
