LONDON, CMC – Reggae Boys Leon Bailey and Bobby Reid scored in the English Premier League on Sunday, but their clubs suffered differing fates.

At Dean Court in southwest England, the 26-year-old Bailey scored his fourth league goal and seventh of the season as Aston Villa twice came from behind to snatch a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.

Meanwhile, 30-year-old Reid netted his third of the campaign, but Fulham conceded late to lose 4-3 to Liverpool in a thriller.

The results left Villa fourth in the league while Fulham lay 12th.

Villa trailed after ten minutes when Antoine Semenyo capitalized on a mistake by Diego Carlos to produce a low finish. Still, Bailey leveled ten minutes later when he toyed with Hungarian full-back Milos Kerkez on the flank before cutting inside to unleash a stunning 16-yard volley past goalkeeper Neto.

Dominic Solanke re-established Bournemouth’s lead in the 52nd when he turned Paul Torres to finish from eight yards. Still, Ollie Watkins nodded in substitute Moussa Diaby’s cross in the 90th to earn the visitors a point and keep intact their unbeaten five-match run.

“It’s not the worst result, but not the best result,” said Villa manager Unai Emery.

“In 90 minutes, with the way we played and the demands they made of us, I think it’s a good point.

“We have to accept it and continue trying to build a team. We are in our process, and we now have 29 points. We were losing 2-1 at the end, and we drew.”

Reid’s strike came in the 80th minute, his header handing the traveling London side a shock 3-2 lead after Harry Wilson (20th) and Kenny Tete (45th) had ensured a 2-2 deadlock at the break.

However, Liverpool struck twice in two minutes in the end, Wataru Endo equalizing with his first Premier League goal in the 87th and Trent Alexander-Arnold scoring seconds later in the 88th to break Fulham’s resolve.
