GEORGETOWN, Guyana, – Acting Chief Justice, Roxane George, Tuesday adjourned to November 30, the hearing of the two petitions filed by the coalition opposition, A Partnership for National Unity and the Alliance for Change (ADC), challenging the outcome of the disputed March 2 regional and general elections in Guyana

The near three-hour session case management conference was taken up in arguments involving the Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, Anil Nandlall, and the attorney for the opposition, Mayo Robertson, over whether or not to strike out the second elections petition filed by the coalition opposition party.

Robertson argued that the interlocutory application in the case was improper and should not be allowed arguing that the case management Order previously issued should be obeyed.
