In a message to the nation on Saturday, The Archbishop called on everyone to denounce the “senseless acts of violence.”
“I vehemently denounce the violence of the act…. I call on all Christians and all persons of goodwill to join me in praying that God will lend a hand at this time of moral crisis.”
According to the Archbishop, the upsurge in violence results from the “irresponsibility of man.”
“The home, the church, the political machinery. We tolerate too much in all our institutions, so we need healing. Let us grow to become our brothers and sisters keepers and work towards building a better nation for now and the future. God bless us all.”
