ST. KITTS-Joint cabinet meetings of St. Kitts and Nevis administrations

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, CMC -According to a government statement, the cabinets of the St. Kitts and Nevis and the Nevis Island Administration (NIA) will hold a joint sitting on Tuesday in Nevis.

The meeting “symbolizes a groundbreaking effort to enhance collaboration and strengthen the relationship between the two islands.”

Cabinet Secretary Dr. Marcus L. Natta said the joint Cabinet session “signifies a commitment to togetherness and cooperation, ensuring a seamless partnership between St. Kitts and Nevis.

“Our goal is to forge a stronger and more efficient government for the benefit of our citizens and residents,” said Dr. Natta, adding that this marks a significant milestone in the political landscape of St. Kitts and Nevis, reflecting a renewed commitment to cooperative governance and a shared vision for the future of both islands.

Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew, who leads the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) administration in the Twin Island Federation, and Premier Mark Brantley, who leads the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) NIA, are both expected to make statements at the opening of the meeting.

“ These remarks will outline the vision and objectives of this collaborative effort, emphasizing the commitment of both administrations working together for the common good,” the government statement added.
