When the doors opened at the New Jersey Expo Center in Edison last Friday evening for the start of the 2022 Sex & Love Expo called Exxxotica, thousands of area residents rushed in, anxious to savor the sensual, hedonistic feast.
The love and sex expo ran for three days last weekend, from Friday, October 21, to Sunday, October 23. The expo was celebrating its 14th year in the NY/ NJ area. The party atmosphere at the spacious venue felt like Times Square on New Year’s Eve night. Hard-core love and sex experts, scores of porn stars, and jaw-dropping queens of beauty mingled with the bumper crowd that came out to make the most of the show. Some came to see, some came to be seen, but the eye-popping entertainment pulled in all.
The action was centered around the main stage that featured non-stop live entertainment with DJs, music performances, female reviews, male reviews, sexy theater, lingerie fashion shows with regular size and big and beautiful women, and pole dancing. There was also a Ms. Exxxotica Pageant, and prizes and giveaways were distributed to the audience throughout the three days of action-packed fun frenzy.
Running concurrently with the main stage action was a kaleidoscope of salacious seminars that covered every imaginable topic relating to sex. The themes ranged from managing jealousy in relationships to a beginner’s guide to swinging, spanking, bondage, twerking, safety for sex workers, nude vacations, the dazzling world of adult toys, and how to please the uncircumcised man.
“Surprisingly, most people know little to nothing about love and sex, and Exxxotica Expo is that school and college to bring people up to speed for enjoying a more rewarding love life,” Raven Bay, a Jamaican adult entertainer, told Caribbean Times.
“Jesus loves sex workers,” a beautiful vendor, Andrea, told Caribbean Times in a video interview, pointing out that it matters not what one did in the past, what one is doing in the present or what one will do in the future; nothing separates people from the grace of God.
The show also featured hundreds of vendors in booths and pop-up shopping spaces with products for sale and giveaways. The range of the products is mind-blowing too. Books, magazines, DVDs, hookup apps, body wraps, adult enhancers, adult enlargers, superman energy drinks, 72-hour sex stamina pills for men, adult toys for 2023, humidity and temperature adjustable life-size dolls with audio, erotic art, saddles, handcuffs, whips, lingerie and spyware for catching a cheating lover. And with the legalization of marijuana in New York and New Jersey states, some vendors now carry a full menu of various types of ganja for sale. One could purchase a satchel of 5 pre-rolled spliffs for $20 or 3.5 grams for $40.
Many of this year’s vendors flew in with their products from faraway states like Colorado and Arizona. Award-winning porn star Stormy Daniels who shot to fame due to her alleged entanglements with former US president Donald Trump was there with her booth, peddling her tell-all book. Popular adult female model Tae’ler jetted in from Detroit and made a huge impact. And Rasta massage man Dizzy made his way in from Miami, providing feel-good relationships to those who could get to his massage table. “I give hugs and massages, and I make people feel good,” he beamed, flashing his dreadlocks. Another event attraction was the wild midnight after partiers, some in New Jersey and others in New York. And as always, the
the fashion worn by both vendors and attendees was seductively outrageous.
Exxxotica is the largest sex expo within the United States, and some years, the event has pulled in over 100,000 fans over three days. The event has Caribbean roots, created by a Trinidadian who later sold it. For several years it had a strong presence from Jamaica’s leading sexy resort, Hedonism 11 in Negril.
