KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – An investigation has been launched after at least six workers were injured in an explosion at a fast food store in the business district of New Kingston on Wednesday.
The police report that the explosion occurred shortly after 11 a.m. (local time) at the Burger King fast-food restaurant.
Four of the workers, three women, and one man are said to be in serious condition.
Preliminary reports suggest a gas leak may have caused the explosion.
