GEORGETOWN, Guyana, CMC – A 23year old miner, Williams Andres Ugas Amudarain, was remanded to prison on Thursday after he was charged with the brutal murder of Venezuelan Adrian Williams.
Williams, a 21-year-old Venezuelan who was brutally chopped to death during a drinking spree.
I was following the incident. Amudarain fled the scene of the crime but was later found by the police and was charged with murder on Thursday.
When he appeared before the judge, he was not required to plead to the charge. He was remanded to prison, and the matter was adjourned to August 9.
