KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – Reggae Boyz and Philadelphia Union legend Andre Blake added another remarkable achievement to his storied career over the weekend, securing his 100th clean sheet for his Major League Soccer (MLS) club.
The Jamaican made three saves in the shutout as the Union defeated Atlanta United 3-0 at Subaru Park.
Blake has been a pillar of the Union’s defense for nearly a decade and continues to etch his name in MLS history with his unparalleled consistency and jaw-dropping performances.
Known for iconic nicknames like “Saves By Dre” and “Brick Wall Blake,” the 33-year-old has redefined excellence in goal.
His trophy cabinet includes four MLS All-Star selections and three MLS Goalkeeper of the Year awards, making him the first player in league history to achieve this feat. He also owns nearly every Union goalkeeping record.
Blake’s impact goes beyond accolades. With 731 saves and over 22,000 minutes of regular-season action.
As one devoted fan put it, “By far and without question, the greatest goalkeeper to ever play in MLS. Every time he steps on the field, he cements his legacy even further.”
