Miami, FL— Several Grenadians who reside in the South Florida diaspora and are passionate about change at home has decided to support the National Democratic Congress (NDC), preparing to defeat the incumbent New National Party in the upcoming general elections Grenada.
The group in Florida consists of long-standing members of the NDC, concerned Grenadians, and friends of Grenada, who are committed to effecting change for the betterment of their homeland.
They plan to sensitize the public on national issues, raise funds and initiate discussions, positively impacting policies at home and abroad.
A spokesperson for the group said that they are vibrant, excited, and ready to work towards desperately needed change in the leadership of Grenada.
He said that the first activity on their agenda would be hosting the Political Leader of the NDC, Dickon Mitchell, in Florida from March 30th to April 1st, 2022. Details on the party leader’s other stops in North America will follow and be available on the NDC Florida Support Group’s Facebook pages and NDC NY Chapter.
At each stop, there will be a series of activities, including a fundraising cocktail reception and a meet and greet session for the sharing of information on Dickon Mitchell’s and the NDC’s vision and plans to move Grenada forward with the engagement of all Grenadians at home and in the Diaspora.
“The machinery for the trip is already oiled and rolling to ensure that the Florida leg is productive and is in keeping with the goals of the party and the organizers,” said the spokesperson.
