LONDON, CMC – Jayden Seales added one scalp to finish with a four-wicket haul for Sussex as honors were shared on Sunday’s day three clash with Northamptonshire in the English County Championship.

The 22-year-old grabbed the first wicket of the morning – Michael Finan for four after the number nine had added just three – to finish with four for 86 as the visitors were dismissed for 371 after resuming on 292 for seven at Hove.

Unbeaten on 22 overnight, Lewis McManus made 50 while adding 41 for the ninth wicket with Ben Sanderson (27) and 38 for the last wicket with Chris Tremain (22 not out).

In reply, Sussex finished the day on 351 for six, opener Tom Haines top-scoring with 133 and James Coles (78) and Fynn Hudson-Prentice (59) chipping in with half-centuries.

The innings were beginning to wander at 94 for three, but Haines, who faced 183 balls in nearly 4-½ hours at the crease and struck 19 fours, revived it in a 137-run fourth-wicket partnership with Coles and a 93-run sixth-wicket stand with Hudson-Prentice.

At Edgbaston, former West Indies captain Jason Holder picked up the wicket of number 11 Chris Rushworth for three to end with one for 63 as Warwickshire were dismissed for 333 after resuming the morning on 292 for five.

Dan Mousley converted his overnight 56 into 62 before becoming the day’s first victim.

Worcestershire marched to 237 for two at the close, with number three Kashif Ali carving out 133.
