Nyssa Pierre has left her job as Communications and Media Manager at Cricket West Indies

ST JOHN’S, Antigua, CMC – Just two months into her Cricket West Indies (CWI) Communications and Media Manager role, Nyssa Pierre has left the position. The Trinidadian announced her departure in a Facebook post on Tuesday but did not give a reason for her decision.

“Dear friends, family, and colleagues. It was a short innings, but today I announce my departure from Cricket West Indies,” she wrote in the post.

“I am thankful for the opportunity to continue contributing to the regional and international cricket landscape in my brief time at the organization.

“I remain in service to the region through my ongoing work in international development and government advisory. I sincerely wish all the West Indies teams I had the pleasure to work with all the best ahead. “A years-long cricket and West Indies fan, I will always rally hard!” the statement added.

Pierre began her new position in September and was based at the CWI’s headquarters at the Coolidge Cricket Ground (CCG) in Antigua.
