BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, CMC – The Caribbean Culture Fund (CCF) has launched its third call for proposals, offering US$400,000 in grants to support cultural and creative projects across the Caribbean region.

It stated that individuals, organizations, and institutions are invited to apply by June 15 this year and that this third call expands eligibility to projects from Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, and Suriname.

The CCF said that Haiti is being included for a second time “in recognition of the severe challenges currently facing the creative sector” there.

According to the CCF, funding will be awarded under three themes, namely “Art for Change,” where 10 grants of US$10,000 each will be awarded for projects using the arts to drive social reflection and change.

It stated that Caribbean Collaboration will also provide 10 grants of US$25,000 each for projects promoting intra-Caribbean cooperation and artistic exchange. The third theme is for grants for short-term creative residencies and fellowships, which are open to institutions across the entire Caribbean.

Ten grants of US$5,000 each will be awarded in the category to support short-term artistic residencies within the region.

The CCF said eligible disciplines include visual arts, performing arts, festival arts, film, literary arts, interdisciplinary forms, architecture, and design.

“Applicants are encouraged to submit clear, feasible proposals that thoughtfully connect objectives and budgets and to consider implementation challenges,” the CCF added.
