Brooklyn, NY – On August 27th, Assemblywoman Nikki Lucas will be hosting the Annual Back 2 School Bookbag & School Supply Giveaway in partnership with Congressman Hakeem Jeffries. This event will be held at Linden Park (Gersh Park), which is located on Vermont St. (between Linden Boulevard & Stanley Avenue) from 11am-6pm.
Children will receive the materials they need for this upcoming school year. In addition, our youth will have access to free haircuts and hair braiding, food, games, vision screening and more.
The Back 2 School Bash is made possible through the support of New Wave Dance Youth and Community Development, Dizzy Brown, BK Mook, Mylah’s Organization, Brookdale Hospital, Good Shepherd, The Lions Club, Fusion East, Street Tacos, Elite Learners, Brooklyn Blend, Yana C Masterminds, Bizzy Bites, Kente Cones, and many other partners.
