CRICKET-TKR and Kings swap Deyal and Pierre

GROS ISLET, St Lucia, CMC – Caribbean Premier Leagueorganisers announced on Thursday that Mark Deyal and Khary Pierre had been part of a player swap between the St Lucia Kings and Trinbago Knight Riders.

According to a news release, Deyal was transferred to TKR from the Kings, and Pierre will come the other way as part of the same deal.

Batsman Deyal returns to TKR, his home franchise, after three seasons with the Kings and has scored 446 runs in the league with a high score of 78.

Left-arm spinner Pierre has been with TKR for six years and was part of a championship-winning team three times. He has 40 wickets at an average of 25 in CPL matches.

The complete squads for this year’s CPL will be announced during the Player Draft, which will occur at the end of June.
