Rawlins and Leverock then led the charge with the ball, Rawlins claiming two for 18 and Leverock, the former captain who plays club cricket in England, picking up two for 22 to restrict Argentina to 119 for five in reply.

Opener Pedro Baron top-scored with 57 for the hosts, while Alejandro Ferguson chipped in with 26.

Bermuda, who won their two matches in Tampa, Florida, in the T20 President Cup before flying to Argentina, will face the Cayman Islands in their opening qualifying round of the ICC campaign on Saturday.

Bermuda will also face the Bahamas, Belize, and Panama in Argentina after Suriname withdrew, with the top three teams joining Canada for the Americas Region Qualifier Finals in Bermuda in September.

The winner will clinch the region’s last T20 World Cup qualifying spot. The West Indies and the United States will co-host next year’s edition.
