ST. GEORGE” S, Grenada, Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell is in Cuba attending the 22nd summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of our America and the Peoples Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), according to an official statement issued here.
It said that the Havana meeting would discuss rising global tensions and the commitment to strengthen ALBA-TCP as an instrument of unity based on solidarity, social justice, cooperation, and economic complementarity.
The statement said that Mitchell is leading a four-member delegation to the summit, including Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development, Minister Joseph Andall.
The delegation is due to return here on Thursday.
