GEORGETOWN, Guyana – President Irfaan Ali is in the United Kingdom to address the Caribbean Council’s House of Lords Annual Reception.
A government statement said that the Caribbean Council’s House of Lords Annual Reception is geared toward providing the United Kingdom, Caribbean, and Central American countries and companies the opportunity to network with their counterparts in Europe.
More President Ali is expected to speak on Guyana’s status as the fastest-growing economy globally and highlight his government’s plans to stimulate and expand its traditional sectors, especially its infrastructure, and attract inward investment.
While in the UK, President Ali will also lead a delegation to the Guyana Investment Seminar held at Carlton House.
