GEORGETOWN, Guyana – Guyana police have issued a warrant to arrest a 30-year-old man accused of stabbing his 17-year-old stepson to death on Sunday night.
Police said that Daniel Wilson was with his cousin, Ron Moonsammy, and the stepfather at a bar when a row erupted.
The authorities said that the suspect then whipped out a knife, stabbing the 17-year-old youth several times, and when the cousin attempted to intervene, he was also stabbed in the chest.
The two cousins were rushed to the hospital, where Wilson was pronounced dead and Moonsammy admitted in a critical condition.
Police on Tuesday night issued the wanted bulletin for the arrest of the stepfather, who has gone into hiding.
